About Us

Lillian Seeger, my Great-Grandmother in her garden. Kittery, ME

My love of gardening and flowers has been passed down from previous generations in my family.  From this passion, I pursued a degree in plant & soil sciences from the University of Massachusetts, which was also the site of my first floral design class.

For years, floral design was a hobby that was limited to weddings of friends and family members.  It was not until 2003 that I decided to make this passionate hobby a professional endeavor.

My focus has always been to use flowers that are grown locally.  These are the freshest and most fragrant flowers available, complementing the beauty of the seacoast area.  I utilize my own gardens as well as local growers.  When a particular flower is not available locally, I can still get them from non-local growers.

My helper, Hannah, about to present a bride with her flowers.

Being a small business means I can dedicate time to each bride, creating unique designs to fit each person's unique wedding.

Thank you for your interest!

Sincerely,

Kristin Blackwell
